In front of an audience of over a fifty food experts, Mr. Benassi explained the requirements for the halal certification. Mr. Sorlini illustrated the new standard’s advantages while Mr. Ghizzinardi appreciated the Italian halal brand recognition.
In his speech, Mr. Distefano highlighted the great potential of the Muslim market. Halal certified products therefore, are ideal to satisfy such customers. Mr. Tomei and Mr. Di Lullo emphasized that the European Muslim customers need more attention and they look carefully for halal certified foods.
